Hello, Thank you for takin' the time to read this. I'll try not to ramble on and on. I'm a WM-45-6'0"-240# (Not fat, but definitely not GQ, with washboard abs, anymore.)- Dark blonde/Blue-D/D Free-Reasonably sane-Clean shaven/Hairy chest. My friends tell me I'm ruggedly handsome (that's why they're friends), look at the rather bored guy in the pic, and judge for yourself. A widower, I have a 12 y.o. son who is the light of my life (sometimes). Always an outdoorsman, I enjoy camping and hiking, or sometimes a walk in nature. I've put more extreme outdoor activities on the shelf (throwing myself off cliffs, sky diving, SCUBA) due to accumilated damage over the years (back, knees), but I can't give up my love for nature. I enjoy a full range of music (except hip-hop, and rap, as well as some new age), literature (historical fiction a favorite), and some TV (Redskins, History Channel, HGTV, Discovery and TLC). I'm a fair cook, and keep a house clean enough that you shouldn't need too many shots before you enter it. I'm a conservative Democrat. I believe in "Old World" values such as honesty, integrity, and a strong work ethic, however, I consider myself fairly open minded on many other matters, non-judgemental, and always willing to consider anothers point of view without invalidating it out of hand. My friends say that I am loyal and steadfast, and a rock in times of trouble. My sense of humor tends to be somewhat dry, and sarcastic (never mean though) at times. I am hoping to find a like minded lady to share life with. One that is different enough to be interesting, but doesn't need me to feel validated as a woman.
