This is me at work

Hello all, and how are you doing this fine day? I am a recent graduate of Purdue University that has just moved out to this fine state of Utah within the last year. I am an Engineer, but I have been told numerous times that I am not a typical Engineer, don't ask me why I did not say it. I am easy going and like to have good times, but of course who likes the bad times? Read on if you have any questions, if they are not answered I am sure I can come up with something.

I'm a 23 year old white man from Roanoke, IN. I consider my appearance to be average looking. I am 5' 9" tall with an average build. I have brown hair, sky blue eyes and an olive complexion.

My ideal match:
My ideal match would be attractive, intellegent, and easy going. I need someone who I can have an intellectual conversation with, and not see a blank stare coming out of her face with every other word I mention. I would like to be able to recognize her in the morning when all the makeup is off. Most of all she needs to be able to have fun, and also know when it is time to relax.

The ideal setting for a first date:
Ideal setting for a first date would have to be Venice, Italy. Very romantic, good food, and good wine. Have a nice Gondala ride with someone pleying the violin in the background. The only problem, its in Italy, but this did say the ideal place, not the realistic place. Might as well say the moon, it is about as likely to happen as going to Italy.

My favorite hangout or club:
This really great bar back is Indiana called Harry's Chocolate Shop was my favorite, always a lot of people there that you knew, and the bartenders got to know you as well. Now that I am here in Utah there are only three choices. I would have to therefore say one of those three, I won't pick a favorite, they are all pretty much the same.

I am enjoying my work, when I actually have something to do. Right now it is kindof slow here. I am doing a lot of office work that I do not enjoy much. I like being outdoors and working, not sitting behind a desk for eight hours a day. Oh well, cannot change it so I am accepting it for now, business is going to pick up soon. I would like to eventually get into R&D, but that is a few years down the line.

What I like to do when I'm not at work:
My off-work time is filled with me being lazy and not thinking. I would like to change that, but it is difficult to do a lot of things when you know nobody in town. I do enjoy the outdoors and when it gets really cold I enjoy the indoors. I attemp to play sports, I say this because I am not an all-star athelete, if I was I would not be an Engineer. Usually right now I clean or play video games. when it gets warmer I am going to try and find a nice golf course and a paintball field or two.

Where I see myself two to five years from now:
I will probably be out of the state of Utah, it is nice, but not that nice. My company likes to move us every few years with a promotion. Where I will end up I have no idea, but I know it will be in upper management somewhere. Probably a safe bet that they will keep me in the states, but you never know. I always hope for that alien ship to come down and take me back home also.

If I could change one thing about myself:
I would change my motivation. I have a really hard time getting out of bed in the morning, I will hit the snooze button about 20 times before actually getting up. I have been this way for years. I even have the alarm clock on the other side of the room, and I still just jump right back in bed. I am working on increasing my flexability and overall apperance by working out when I have time.

Final thoughts:
If you have even gotten this far I am impressed. Behind all the somewhat witty comments and the jokes, I am actually a pretty serious guy, when I need to be. There is not need to be serious throughout life, it is to short. Sometimes I have a hard time differentiating between the two, but I usually do okay with a smack to get me back in line. Honestly I do not see much becomming of this site, but I am always sceptical of things. I at least had fun filling out all of the questions, and I hope you enjoyed reading them. Drop me a line if you so desire, if not hit the back button on the browser and I will dissapear from your screen like magic.
